In a year dominated by a global pandemic, I return to my roots and accompany the everyday life of my 14-year-old cousin for a summer in my home in the north of Brandenburg. She is growing up in the same place as I did - somehow the same and yet completely different. I follow her and the traces of this time in the in-between of isolation and freedom of the rural idyll.
